The Opportunity

A unique and truly entrepreneurial opportunity to start the Nordic presence and be a key contributor for a rapidly scaling and highly acquisitive North American SaaS business.  

The Company is a well established and award winning acquirer of global SaaS firms with a model of acquire, grow and hold for the long term. An opportunity to join at the perfect time to capitalize upon Nordic and Global growth.

This is an incredibly exciting and varied opportunity to take a front line Corporate Development role to identify and engage with SaaS Founders and CEO’s and manage the M&A process from valuations to executing on transactions.

Ideal candidates will have worked in the SaaS sector with blended experience that may include Corporate Development, PE, M&A, VC, Investment Banking, Advisory or perhaps entrepreneurial SaaS experiences.

 

The Role

  • Build out the Nordic region as the first in region executive
  • Identify and build relationships with business owners in core SaaS vertical market segments
  • Work with and collaborate across the business and bring together a best practice team to drive great business outcomes for both the company and business owners/founders/CEO’s
  • Compile financial and valuation data 
  • Lead multiple company acquisitions
  • Work closely with all stakeholders to drive successful outcomes 
  • Lead solid due diligence efforts
  • Support post acquisition integration
  • From the very beginning, become a valuable and visible member of the international team

The Person

  • We are open to a broad blend of experiences that may include working within SaaS, Corporate Development, M&A, Venture Capital, Private Equity, Investment Banking, Tech Incubation or similar
  • We are particularly interested in experience of majority investments in entrepreneurial companies
  • Ideal candidates will be true self starters and entrepreneurial deal makers
  • Operating experience as a SaaS leader with commercial experience in sales process, recurring revenue models would be advantageous so long as there is evidence of genuine Corporate Development or M&A experience
  • High levels of business acumen
  • Strong business negotiation skills
  • Financial acumen and capability as well as being an exceptional presenter
