The Challenge

Groop was at a critical stage of development and needed to identify a sales leader that would bring cohesion, sales process and leadership to the sales team while maintaining a harmonious and supportive sales culture. Groop was introduced to Intrinsic through one of their advisors who had built a relationship with Paul French, Director of Intrinsic over the last 20 years.

The Solution

Intrinsic proposed and delivered a rapid and nimble executive search process that was tuned specifically to the needs of Groop. The search was led to ensure that shortlisted candidates had experience of working for a similar early stage SaaS business. Suitable candidates would have an entrepreneurial profile, ideally having worked for a smaller, hgh growth business in early stage mode.

The Outcome

A pre-interviewed shortlist of candidates was presented to Groop for interview and from the original shortlist, the preferred candidate was selected and hired. The end to end process was less than 90 days, from the first meeting to the chosen candidate starting.
