The Opportunity:

An outstanding opportunity to join an exciting 100-person, UK ClimateTech, Series A scale-up as Head of Self-Serve, B2B Sales Automation. To lead the SaaS sales function and drive revenue growth through strategic automation initiatives.

The Role:

  • Reports to the Chief Commercial Officer
  • Develop and implement initiatives to optimise the self-serve sales process, increase conversion rates, and drive YoY revenue growth
  • Lead the development and implementation of sales automation tools and processes to streamline workflows and reduce customer acquisition costs 
  • Design and implement online customer workflows to enhance the user experience and increase customer satisfaction through the sales journey.
  • Analyse funnel metrics and reporting data to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, DataOps and Customer Success teams to align sales automation initiatives 
  • Manage and motivate a team of 6 x SDRs to drive individual and team performance to targets.
  • Support enterprise sales conversation, developing relationships with senior executives and closing more complex deals


  • A background in building self-serve subscription channels and a deep understanding of digital customer acquisition workflows, conversion rate optimisation and sales funnel metrics, as well as sales operations
  • 5+ years experience in high-performing senior sales roles in SaaS organisations, ideally supply chain or ClimateTech solutions
  • Proven experience in sales automation, conversion rate optimisation, and building self-serve subscription channels, preferably in SaaS 
  • Strong understanding of online customer workflows, UX & UI principles, and funnel metrics and reporting
  • Demonstrated success in managing and optimising sales operations to drive revenue growth, including use of systems like Salesforce
  • Built, launched, leveraged, scrapped, and re-built a variety of sales tech and automation stacks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Creative problem solver with a passion for innovation and a proactive mindset committed to continuous improvement
  • Experience developing high-performing sales professionals
  • Exposure to enterprise selling and experience working with large enterprise clients is a plus.
  • A passion for the company’s mission to tackle climate change
