We are hiring for a very differentiated European FinTech SaaS firm that has recently launched a totally unique class of Personal Financial Management SaaS solution.
The proposition is purchased by Banks to bring value & benefit to Bank customers by creating a far more personalised banking experience that is scientifically proven to improve the lives and financial well being of Banking Customers.
We are looking to hire a Sales Manager (individual contributor role) to lead the sales and commercial engagement with Banks and to shape & define Go To Market strategy and win new business within the Banking sector. This exciting and already successful SaaS FinTech have already won their first Customers for this new solution including a major Top Ten global Bank and the Sales Manager will be responsible for winning further clients and building a successful business unit with the opportunity for true career development.
Ideal candidates will have an entrepreneurial sales & business development mindset having been successfully been involved in a startup environment or the launch of a new proposition or some other more entrepreneurial SaaS venture where through a result of their efforts, a product has been successfully sold or new market has been opened.
Most European locations considered.
- Develop a sales playbook and GTM strategies along with the leadership team that leads to successful sales execution
- Within major target Banks, map the key stakeholder landscape and decision making process of prospects by creating clear account plans
- Develop strategic alliances opportunities that enhance and accelerate the sales process
- Ultimately drive and close new business opportunities within major Banks
- Opportunity to carve out a critically important role within the company and the potential to lead a team in the future
- Enterprise Sales experience in Banking and FinTech is required
- A passionate and stimulating story teller
- International experience, perhaps selling cross border deals or having worked in an international environment
- Leadership capability, either having some early stage leadership experience or potential to be an phenomenal leader
- Experience of working with Product Managers/leaders, Marketing., Tech teams and other stakeholders both internal and external in an entrepreneurial SaaS or FinTech environment
- Will have worked on GTM fit and developed ideal buyer persona strategies
- Business development experience is critical as is the ability to drive and close new business
- No big ego or deep desire to lead teams right away, but a desire to take an active part in the development of a very exciting software business
- A real passion to be involved in the sales of FinTech that can truly make a difference to the lives of millions of people as an ESG proposition (environmental, social & governance)
