Intrinsic is retained to search for a high performing VP / Head of Marketing to join a rapidly growing UK headquartered FinTech business. This role will lead all aspects of marketing, reporting directly to C-level with responsibility and leadership for all aspects of the marketing function.
This is a major FinTech growth opportunity. The company is an established market disruptor providing innovative solutions and is now positioned for significant growth.
The role will suit a hands on Marketing leader that still wants to be hands on as required, but also has that proven, strategic leadership capability required to scale a marketing function in a high growth SaaS Fintech
Role:

Responsible for all marketing activities with an emphasis on PR and branding including marketing planning, demand generation, pipeline development, event planning & channel marketing

Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan with a high emphasis on driving lead generation (direct and partners) and delivering on customer up-sell, cross-sell, retention and satisfaction targets.

Set current and long term goals for the team. To include a clear set of KPIs by team.

Design and build the marketing playbook and processes that will be the framework in which to deliver the marketing plan and hit the KPIs.

Design and build the marketing organisation structure to achieve the above and to scale for growth.

Manage the execution of the above to deliver on the plan, targets and KPIs.

Provide consistent weekly and monthly reports to track performance.

Where gaps / issues occur pro-actively modify the plan to course correct and ensure the plan, targets and KPIs are achieved.

Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and further opportunities for growth.

Work closely with product to identify product marketing strategies including product market assessments, competitor analysis, product USPs.
Skills and Experience Required:

10+ years experience in driving marketing initiatives, preferably focused on medium and small businesses within a SaaS or FinTech environment, ideally SaaS and Fintech combined

Proven ability to set up a lead generation machine utilising both direct and indirect channels.

Worked in a fast-paced scale-up environment.

Excellent organisational planning and people management skills, required to implement the changes needed to scale up at pace, whilst still delivering on the monthly targets.

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills with a proven capability of working closely with sales, partnerships and product to drive organisational outcomes.
